Barbadian volunteer welcomes YOU!

Jaslyn Hall, Madam Festival Administrator, is one of several international volunteers who are passionately committed to this Festival in Guyana. Based in Barbados, she will be introducing our anniversary programme from the parish of Christ Church on the beautiful Accra beach. Jas, as she is affectionately known, is a key volunteer on the Team and leads on all administrative aspects, working very closely with other volunteers, nurturing, teaching and supporting them to manage the logistics in keeping the show ‘on the road’.

Jas is thoughtful, committed and efficient and has worked in the arts in the UK, Australia and Barbados for several decades. She joined us in 2015 at Rockview Lodge and since then has become one of the Team’s anchor points. Like other members of the Team, Jas contributes all year round to ensure that we all ‘hit the ground running’ by the time we arrive in Georgetown.

Given her time spent working at the Opera House in Perth, Australia, all it takes is a glass or two of a good Merlot or Chardonnay to bring ‘the Aussie accent’ to the fore!
